Planning : Filming Locations

The filming locations of where i plan to film my music video is extremely important in the planning and creation of the video for example there is several things that i will need to take into mind before i select and confirm the certain locations such as:

Is the location free and avalible?- the location need to be free to use and available for my schedule otherwise it will result in a loss of time for both me and the actors that i have elected and therefore slow down the production process.

Is the location suitable for the filming of my product?- will the location be too busy? and will i be able to capture the footage and of the quality that i need for the production of the video.

Is the location within suitable range for me and the actors?- will i be able to get to and from the location with ease and suitable to travel to for a possible re-film if my footage isn't quite right.

Location 1: School Theatre

For the majority of my music video i plan to film the main actor in a darkened out theatre in which a spotlight of some sort will be focused primary on the actor for him to then lip-sync along to the lyrics of the music video and the theatre would be the ideal location to achieve this footage to the standard i need. the only problem that i could face with this location is the availability in that the theatre is always in use and i would have to book in for a slot to use it.

Location 2: Pleasure Park

Within the music video i also plan to film the two actors bonding and having fun within a parkland and public area to accompany the lip syncing pieces. this location would therefore be an ideal park and location for the filming. the only problem that i could face with this certain location is getting my actors together and to this location and back.

Location 3: kba recording studio
within the video i plan to have the main actor lip syncing along to the lyrics and i feel that a recording studio with a proper mic setup will be the perfect choice for this section of the music video, however the only problem that i could run into is availability of the studio
