Use of the camera:

Within the three music videos close ups of the characters is used a lot throughout the video this is used to show he emotions and reactions of the actors to things that happen in the video as well as to focus on that character. high and low angles are also used in 2 of the videos.

Use of editing:

Throughout the 3 music videos the main actor in the video or often the main artist is given all of the screen time within the video such as rihanna playing the main role and participating in pretty much all of the shots. shots within the videos are often very short and snappy often changing in time with the beat of the song. there is also montage editing in all of the videos.

Use of mise-en-scene:

the actors within the 3 videos show lots of emotion through their acting in all 3 videos showing the level of their acting. throughout the 3 videos their is a high level of intimacy shown throughout the course of the videos as well as the videos being well lighted throughout with very strange and out of the ordinary locations such sports halls and car parks.
