Lewis watson's music genre is acoustic/indie singer songwriter whose target audience for his music is generally the younger generation based around 18- 25 year olds i will have to target people of this age that are interested in this genre who are both female and male in late teens with distinctive styles in which my chosen artist has a distinctive style which could relate to the teens of a similar age of the target audience therefore they would tend to relate and have a connection through similar interests. lewis Watson also uses social media a lot through his youtube channel and across media platforms in which the age group would use heavily thought their daily life.
people within this target audience would generally enjoy their music more than going out and parting or getting drunk, they would appreciate their music more in which they would probably be more likely to attend festivals or popular acoustic artists, purchase music magazines or sign up to music sites/apps such as deezer or Spotify in order to enjoy the music every day and surround temselves with others that have similar music tastes.

Background: Watson was raised in Bicester oxford shire and raised with a
brother a sister, and currently has a YouTube channel labeled HolyLoowis in
which he started uploading in 2010. He is an Emerging British pop-folk artist who released his fourth EP,
Four More Songs, in 2013. His debut album, The Morning, was released on July 7,
2014. He has also performed across Australia with Birdy throughout 2013
Career to date: Watson first began to play
the guitar and create music after his 16th birthday as he then began
to upload various song covers which were uploaded to his YouTube channel. In 2012
he released his first ep ‘It's got four sad songs on
it BTW’ which included "What About Today?", "Nothing",
"Bones", "Windows" this then lead to a record deal with
Warner Bros. Records. Later that year Watson's second EP Another four sad
songs was released. It included a cover of "Lamplight", a song
originally by Bombay Bicycle Club. Early 2013 Watson toured Australia with Birdy
as well as playing at various festivals and tours as well as releasing his 4th
and 5th ‘eps Four
More Songs’ and ‘Some Songs with Some Friends’.
Then in February 2014 he released the debut album ‘The morning’.
